Chinese Tea, Properly
Not everyone wants a cocktail at 2am. We keep ten whole-leaf teas from China and Taiwan, bought from a specialist tea house and brewed by the pot — 4 g of leaves, enough for one or two people and several rounds of hot water. A pot is 130 ฿, jasmine 80 ฿, any hour of the day.

How we brew it
Gongfu-style, by the pot: 4 g of leaves, water just off the boil for the oolongs, the black tea and the pu-erh, a little cooler for the green and white teas, and short infusions poured one after another. One pot comfortably serves two. When the leaves are done, ask for a fresh pot or a top-up of hot water.
Which one to pick
- Mellow and easy: GABA “Ruby 18” or Bai Mu Dan
- Floral: Tie Guan Yin or Dan Cong “Ya Shi Xiang”
- Roasted and bold: Da Hong Pao
- Fresh and light: Long Jing or Jasmine Snow
- Deep and warming: pu-erh or Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong
